Wiring Panel Part 2:
After several hours (like 20 of them!!), I had a panel!
'

One of my pet peeves is when there is a wiring issue in our trucks, you never know what the effing wire is for. So I decided I wouldn’t have that issue with my panel. Every wire was also labeled so if there is an issue, I know what it is for.

And with the raceway covers on:

Now, you all know I am detail oriented, but my OCD got the better of me here and I proved I am OCD as shit. Every wire for every relay is laid out EXACTLY the same. This way it all matches. 🙂

And the final shot of panel 1:

Wiring Panel Part 3:
Now that panel one was done, it was time to hop into panel two!

And the result of both panels together:

And best for last, both panels, no covers!! 🙂

This is how the panels will sit in the truck.

Speakers:
One of the things I have been fighting with is where to put the rear speakers. I didn’t want to cut the rear doors, and after 12 years of arguing with myself on where they would go, I caved. I decided to cut the rear doors (even though I hate that look!) but came up with a plan for them to look OK by the time I am done.
Sooooo, I cut a hole. 🙁
Started with nicely marking where it needed to be cut. I chose the back side of the door as the front is too prone to being kicked by passengers getting in and out of the back seat.

Next was the water shield

Aaaaaand the final part of the speaker install. More will happen before I am done with this door so the speaker wont be so visible.
'

Drivers side then got the same treatment:
